Ginny's Cottage is my home business comfortably located in our
1930's bungalow in Iron Station, North Carolina ~ about 30
miles northwest of Charlotte.
I love vintage, victorian, romantic and shabby~cottage~chic
style! I filled my home with vintage finds and put own touches
on them, or made my own cottage style decor.
Soon, I was getting compliments on my decorating and crafts,
and I started making decor and gift items for my family and
friends.
In 2002 I created ginnyscottage.com as an opportunity offer my
hand crafted gifts, gift baskets, decor and furniture online. This
has given me the outlet to put my decorating/design talents to
work for a world of customers.
I am blessed with the opportunity to be a stay at home mom to
my four year old daughter Landry ~ so the home business is
working out wonderfully! I have always been a crafter and a
do~it~yourselfer, and my husband Mike helps me with projects
too. I love things that are unique and custom for my home and I
love personalized things for my own keepsake.... so I enjoy
designing and making gifts and decor with that same special
touch for others.
For four enjoyable years now I have been dedicated to making
and selling hand~crafted and personalized gifts, cottage~chic
décor, and creative gift baskets here on ginnyscottage.com. I’ve
had such a wonderful response, and it's been so rewarding! I am
specializing in customized and personalized gift baskets for any
person, occasion, or theme. This is a service to my customers
that they can't get anywhere else ~ building the gift basket to
perfectly fit the person receiving it!
I enjoy working with my customers on a personal basis ~ I work
whole heartedly to ensure that the gift or decor item is just
right for the both the giver and the recipient. It's important to
me that my customers keep coming back ~ and that they know
they can count on me to give them extra special service.
How did I come up with the name "Ginny's Cottage"? Ginny is
our dog ~ a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and she is my greeter at
the house! So I named the place after her. I have the workshop
in my home, where I am offering furniture painting, home
decorating services plus craft and sewing services. I also offer
eBay services for buying and selling, and I help folks locate
vintage pieces for their home and garden.

Victorian cards & prints, custom lampshades, personalized
music & keepsake boxes, monogrammed linens, silk and dried
